Center For Clean Air Policy

In collaboration with leading companies, states and environmental organizations, the Center for Clean Air Policy has formed a new national US climate policy dialogue, the Climate Policy Initiative, which provides an off-the-record forum for the necessary learning and stakeholder discussions that are needed to advance a comprehensive national climate policy solution. Goals of this Initiative are to: 1) educate key industry and government officials on the scope of the climate problem; and 2) develop a set of pragmatic near-term and longer-term mitigation and adaptation solutions for climate change in the United States. The analytical work and policy ideas developed through this Initiative can be used by participants to craft an effective and politically viable national climate strategy for consideration by the next Administration, whichever political party prevails.
