The Center has been working to advance market-oriented mechanisms to address aviation emissions. CCAP has participated in international negotiating processes to promote a market-based approach to addressing CO2 emissions from international aviation. A s part of this effort we continue to participate in the working group that is evaluating the design of an aviation emissions trading and voluntary agreement program. On another front, CCAP is working to address NOx and particulate matter emissions from aviation through federal, state, and regional approaches.
