

Request for Audit Proposal (RFP)
Center for Clean Air Policy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating innovative, replicable climate solutions, strengthens capacities, and promotes best practices across the local, national, and international levels to accelerate the transition to a net-zero, climate resilient future. We are seeking proposals from qualified independent certified public accounting firms to perform an annual financial audit for the fiscal year ending 06/30/2025 and two project audits, with the option to renew for the financial audit for up to 3 additional years.

Scope of Services
The selected audit firm will be expected to:
Conduct a Financial Audit

Conduct an annual audit of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and applicable nonprofit standards.

Conduct two project audits in accordance with GAAP, applicable nonprofit standards and grant agreement
-
Express an opinion on the fairness of presentation of the financial statements.

Evaluate internal controls and provide a management letter with recommendations.
